One Cyc. Two Great Looks.

Siemens wanted very different looks for two presenters–a scientist and a top executive–on a one-day shoot. Duarte Design booked our white cyc for its versatility. They opted for a very classic clean white background for scientist Dr. Stuart Goose. Executive Chenyan Xu loved the dramatic look Duarte designed for him.

Director Brian Pugnetti, DP Tom Chandler and Gaffer Thomas Spingola created the effects with old style lighting techniques using cookies, gels & filters. With the white cyc as their starting point, they painted the sets with light. Most of the lights served double duty for both setups, keeping production smooth and efficient.

Makeup artist Jan Lehnhardt kept the talent looking better than their best. Yoko Komuno, teleprompter operator, kept them on message, and Caterer Liz Bauer made it a happy set with her wonderful food.
